Intern research projects
Projects are available for students in the area of applied bioinformatics
Students should be undertaking a degree in the field of bioinformatics and can demonstrate suitable data analysis and possibly software development skills.
Project areas are flexible: students can undertake a prescribed project or design a project reflecting their specific interests.
Knowledge genetic and genomic data analysis would be advantageous but is not essential. Students would undertake in house training and research projects to develop skills in applied bioinformatics.
The research areas include the functional analysis of genetic and genomic data for complex genomes or metagenomic data, data visualisation or software development.
The successful applicants will have the opportunity to work with internationally recognised experts and use/develop the latest technologies for bioinformatics applied to genetics and genomics.
