Research

My PhD research interests involve analysing expression genes, and identifying genetic variations, such as genetic diversity and the assiociation of markers with important agronomic traits in Triticum aestivum (bread wheat). I have assembled wheat transcriptomes and identified SNPs by specific perl script, and built up the wheat autoSNPdb database. Currently, I am analysing experssion genes in Triticum aestivum.

Previously, I have developed the CMAP database for pulished Brassica genetic markers against chromosomes from Brassica rapa and CMAP database for genetic markers against wheat chromosome arm 7DS.
